3. Using Free Themes

This is one of my biggest mistakes ever. If you are using free themes, then you are making the biggest mistake in your blogging career.

Why am I saying this?

I am saying this because when I started my first blog in 2018. Then I used the free theme to its fullest. Due to which my blog was hacked many times.

I know that when people are new to blogging career, you do not have the budget to buy premium themes and plugins, so all new bloggers use free themes, which is not right for your blog health. .

But if you are starting your blog, then I would advise you to use the premium theme. Because most free themes are not SEO friendly, the speed of the theme is not good. And you are not able to customize it yourself.

But this is completely wrong because you cannot proceed by writing a few posts in any blog. For that, you will have to write the post properly by becoming regular.

If you are trying to write a good blog post, then you can follow these rules:

Research about any topic you want to write a post on, for this you can use a website like Quora or Reedit. After that, search for some keywords related to that topic. (You can use tools like SEMrush to search for keywords.)

After that read at least the top 10 website posts related to that article and write the posts in an outline according to your understanding. You can adopt this method every time. With this you can write good quality posts.

5. Not using social media traffic

The problem of every new bloggers is that there is no traffic on their blog.

Why don't they get traffic?

Every pro blogger also takes help of social media traffic to boost his blog.

If you depend on only one traffic, then I advise you not to depend on one traffic, but to use different traffic sources.

I have a question to you, is it important to create backlinks for new bloggers?

If you are a new blogger, your answer will be 'yes' and I agree with your answer. But new bloggers have a misconception that in order to rank a new website, you have to create a lot of backlinks.

Actually, no more backlinks are required to rank a new website. Most new bloggers start creating backlinks as soon as they start a blog, which has a very bad effect in their blog ranking.

So if you are making this mistake, then close it now.

So now the question comes when should we start link building.

So I would advise you to focus on your content in the beginning, and increase the quality of your content.

When there are 30 to 100 posts on your blog, then you can start making backlinks.

How can backlinks be made?

To Create backlinks, you can comment on another blog and make no-follow backlinks.

To make even more high quality backlinks, you can do guest posts, broken link building, or blogger outreach.
